The Rimbaud family moved into this house, then composed of 3 flats, in 1869. For six years, until 1875, they lived on the first floor. The young Arthur lived within its walls from the age of 15 to 21, in a period of intense poetic creation. It was probably here that some of the world-famous poems were written.
