The Arthur Rimbaud Museum is an essential place to better understand this iconic poet, born in Charleville. In the heart of the city, it offers to discover the life and work of Arthur Rimbaud through historical documents, autograph manuscripts and numerous works of artists of the 20th century.ème and XXIème centuries inspired by Rimbaud's texts and personality.
Several temporary exhibitions can be discovered each year. Some exhibitions revisit the permanent collection, enriching it with external loans, by making them dialogue on a specific theme related to Rimbaud's life. Other exhibitions take place in the House of Elsewhere, proposing an opening on the dialogue between poetry and arts, as well as on contemporary creation.
